The selected articles of the XVIII SBGFA composed the axis of "Methodologies for the teaching of physical geography in the school environment".

The Federal University of Ceará - UFC, through the Graduate Program in Geography of the Department of Geography and the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Marine Sciences of the Institute of Marine Sciences - LABOMAR, organized the XVIII Brazilian Symposium on Physical Geography. (SBGFA), from June 11 to 15, 2019, in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará. SBGFA was supported by the organization of UECE's Postgraduate Geography Programs and UFC's Postgraduate Program in Environmental Development.
